Privacy Policy

Panera Menu (paneramenulist.us) is an independent guide to the Panera Bread menu. This page explains what information this website collects, how that information gets used, and what choices you have. If anything here is unclear, write to us at admin@paneramenulist.us and we will do our best to explain it in plain words.

Information we collect

Most people simply read our pages, and reading a page asks you for almost nothing. A few parts of the site do collect information:

  • Comments. If you leave a comment, we store the name, email address and comment text you type in, along with your IP address and browser details that WordPress uses to fight spam.
  • Contact messages. When you email us, we receive your email address and whatever you choose to write. Please don’t send passwords, payment details or anything else sensitive.
  • Technical data. Our hosting and security tools record standard log data such as pages visited, time of visit, device type and approximate location derived from your IP address. This helps us spot errors and abuse.
  • Cookies. Like most websites, we use cookies, which are small files stored in your browser. Details sit in the cookie section below.

How we use information

We use the information above to run the site, answer messages, understand which guides readers actually find helpful, and keep the pages secure. We do not sell your personal information. We don’t build profiles of individual readers, and we won’t email you marketing material because you once sent us a message. If a law, court order or safety issue ever forced a disclosure, we would share only what is required.

Cookies on this site

Cookies fall into a few rough groups here. Some are essential, for example remembering a commenter’s details or keeping the site secure. Some help us count visits in aggregate, so we can see that a soup guide is popular without knowing who read it. Others belong to advertising, covered next. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings at any time. The site may look slightly less polished with cookies off, but the menu guides will still load and read the same.

Google AdSense and advertising cookies

We show advertising through Google AdSense. That matters for your privacy, so here is the honest version:

  • Google and other third-party vendors use cookies to serve ads based on your visits to this site and to other sites on the internet.
  • Google’s use of advertising cookies, including the DART cookie, lets it and its partners show ads that are more likely to interest you.
  • You can opt out of personalised advertising by visiting Google Ads Settings (adssettings.google.com). You can also opt out of many third-party vendors’ cookies at aboutads.info.
  • Blocking ad cookies does not remove the ads themselves. It simply makes them less tailored to you.

Other services we rely on, such as our host and any analytics or security tools, may set their own cookies under their own privacy policies. We choose common, reputable providers, but we do not control how they write their rules.

Your choices and rights

You stay in charge of your information. You can ask us what personal data we hold about you, ask for it to be corrected, or ask for it to be deleted. Email admin@paneramenulist.us from the address in question so we can confirm it’s really you, and we will handle the request as quickly as we reasonably can. Comment cookies can be cleared from your own browser whenever you like.

How long we keep data

Comments stay published for as long as the article they belong to. Contact emails are kept only as long as we need them to deal with your message and any follow-up, then deleted during routine mailbox clean-ups. Server logs are rotated by our host on their normal schedule. We don’t hang on to personal data just in case it might be useful one day.

Children’s privacy

This site is a general-audience reference guide. It is not aimed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has sent us personal details, contact us and we will remove them.

Changes to this policy

We may update this page when our tools change or when the rules themselves change. The version published here is always the current one, and significant changes will be reflected in the text itself rather than announced with fanfare. Checking back once in a while is a good habit on any website, ours included.

Last updated: October 2026. Questions: admin@paneramenulist.us.

What is collected, and why

When you visit Panera Menu, a limited amount of information is recorded automatically, in the same way most websites work. That includes pages visited, time spent on a page, the type of device and browser used, and the general region a visit comes from. It is looked at in aggregate, to see which guides are popular, which pages are hard to use, and where the writing needs work, rather than to build a profile of any individual reader.

Information you send yourself is narrower. If you leave a comment, the site receives the name, email address, and comment text you submit, plus technical details that help fight spam, and your email address is never displayed publicly. If you write an email, the site receives your address and whatever you put in the message. There is no account system and no checkout on this site, so payment details are never collected here at all.

Cookies and advertising

Cookies are small files stored by your browser that let a site remember basic preferences and measure use in aggregate. Some cookies come from the site itself, and others may come from analytics or advertising services used to keep the site running. Advertising shown on the site may use cookies to limit how often the same advertisement appears or to measure whether it was seen, and those services have their own privacy rules, which apply to their cookies in addition to this policy.

You can control cookies through your browser settings, including blocking third-party cookies or deleting cookies already stored. Blocking some cookies may make parts of the site less convenient, for example a preference may not be remembered, but the guides themselves remain readable. The site does not sell personal information, and it does not share your email address with advertisers or with other readers.

Your choices, security, and changes

You can ask what personal information the site holds about you, ask for a correction, or ask for deletion of a message or comment you sent, by writing to admin@paneramenulist.us. Requests are handled on working days, and the team may need to confirm that a request comes from the person it concerns before acting on it, especially for deletion. A request to delete a published comment may leave the comment text removed while keeping a short record that a comment was removed, for moderation purposes.

Security is taken seriously, but no website can promise absolute security, and email in particular is not a fully private channel, so please do not send sensitive personal information by email unless you have to. The site does not knowingly collect information from children, and parents who believe a child has sent personal information can write in to have it removed. If this policy changes in a material way, the updated version will appear on this page, and continued use of the site after a change means acceptance of the updated policy.

Contact for privacy questions

For any question about this policy, or to make a request about your information, write to admin@paneramenulist.us. That inbox covers privacy requests as well as corrections and general questions, so a message will reach the same small team that runs Panera Menu, and it will be read on working days.
